A Bristol business has invested thousands to build a 13,000 sq ft live lounge in order to supports its clients and the flourishing creative sector in Bristol. Clip Display will officially open the building in the coming weeks, which is based in Pucklechurch, not far from their main office in Wick. The company is an international leader in the design and building of exhibition stands for companies of all sizes and work with a host of companies across the region and internationally including Thatchers Cider, HSBC, Nandos, Hilton, Google, Westons Cider, BT and GSK.Paul Runacres Clip has opened its new ‘Live Lounge’ in order to give businesses and clients a space to brainstorm ideas and get their creative juices flowing. Paul Runacres, who is Head of Sales & Marketing at the company, comments: “We have been building exhibition stands for our clients for 35 years now but decided a year or two back that we needed a space where we could work with them to come up with ideas around branding and solutions; and to help them achieve their goals for growth and development. “The space has been very well received but more importantly is getting results. It allows people to come away from their office and work on their businesses, rather than in them, and create ideas and graphics that make for amazing stands.” The Live Lounge allows Clip to build a clients’ stand up to 12m x 10m, so they can have a full dress rehearsal before an exhibition or conference. Clients can also bring their stand team to the space, so they can be briefed on the design concepts; and have training on how best to man a stand and achieve optimum return on investment. Paul says the company is also planning to launch new products in 2015 and business owners will be able to experiment with augmented reality, directional audio and paperless literature systems at the Live Lounge in the coming months. The Clip Group ended 2014 with revenues of £8.5 million, 83 staff on the books and having designed over 400 stands for some of the UK and world’s biggest exhibitions. 2014 also saw the company win major news clients such as Nandos and award-winning South West based Dextra Group.
