Attending the Diabetes UK Professional Conference, the largest event in the UK organised exclusively for the education of scientists and healthcare professionals working in diabetes.
The main objective of the show for Dexcom was to raise awareness of the brand, what it does, and to generate new contacts and leads. They needed to achieve this by creating high brand visibility at the show and then to create enough intrigue to draw people to the stand.
Working to a very comprehensive brief, we produced a high profile, interactive and productive stand for the show. We created a large logo at the head of the stand so that this could be seen by all people entering the exhibit hall. A large TV screen projected the key messages, which was visible for up to 10 metres away. An apple-store like demo table on the edge of the stand offered interaction for the stand visitors – allowing people to touch and play. Finally on the stand a touch screen gave a more detailed overview of product features and clinical data.
Working to the brief and show objectives that Dexcom had, we Working within a budget, in this example, we used our low cost combined rental systems (panel & pole and bematrix). Dexcom purchased the graphics and our onsite build and storage services after the event ready for the next event.
Dexcom collected 122 leads to follow up, ranging from Nurses, Doctors, Consultants and Specialists.
